Senior Puppy

Puppies start to learn the moment you bring them home so it is important to start training right away.  This class will guide you through the early stages of puppy development and will help you develop the foundation for a rewarding relationship.

Requirements: This class is for puppies 15 weeks old at the start of class.  Younger puppies  or puppies who are smaller may need to take the Puppy Primer prior to this class based on the assessment of the instructor.

Description:   Emphasis is on the prevention of problem behaviors and the development of good manners and includes:

bullet Bite Inhibition                                
bullet Chewing
bullet Down
bullet Sit
bullet Come
bullet Socialization
bullet Troubleshooting
bullet Exposure to novel stimuli
bullet Introduction to miniature agility equipment
bullet Leave it
bullet Give

Puppies adopted from a shelter or rescue organization within 6 months of registration receive 10% off the class tuition.

Schedule:  Class meets one hour a week for 6 weeks.  Puppies do not attend the first session.  Please check the schedule  or calendar for registration information.  Additional classes are added as needed, so please contact Valerie (val@petbehaviorhelp.com) if you don't see a class that will work for you.
