Run-through classes present handlers with the opportunity to run a competition course with treats and toys and as many positive training tools as needed.  Each dog/handler team will have 3 minutes on the course to practice, alternating turns with the other teams present.

Requirements:

    1. Dog must be able to safely perform all obstacles presented to the dog (i.e. if your dog does not do the teeter at full height, you can come to the run-throughs as long as you have enough control over your dog to skip the teeter). Dogs who do not meet these criteria in the opinion of the PBH-designated monitor will be asked to leave and refrain from returning until they have advanced in their training.
    2. Handlers must use appropriate and positive training techniques. Handlers who are unsportsman-like or use overly harsh methods in the opinion of the PBH-designated monitor will be asked to leave.
    3. Handler must provide proof of vaccinations and sign a waiver.

Description:

Novice: A NADAC, AKC or USDAA Novice course will be provided each week.

Elite: An Elite, Excellent or Masters course will be provided each week.

Specialty Classes (not offered each session - check the current schedule)

These classes are designed for concentrated practice on certain obstacles or skills.  Each class meets for 1/2 hour for 4 weeks.  Theses classes are limited to 4 dogs to increase individual attention and practice time.

Weave Pole Workouts

This class is for dogs that are struggling to master the weave poles or need to improve speed, distance and independence from the handler.

A-Frame Antics

Having trouble sticking the landing in 2-on 2-off or getting that big dog to hit the yellow with a moving A-frame contact performance?  Then this class is just for you.

Gymnastic Jumping

Does your dog knock bars or struggle to jump its competition height?  Do you have to lead your dog to every jump?  We'll use jump chutes, boxes and other exercises to improve your dog's jumping skills.

The Trouble with Teeters

Geeky Star Trek name aside, many dogs need a little extra time and practice to perform the teeter safely, quickly and legally.  The teeter/table method will be used to boost speed, independence and confidence on this tricky obstacle.
