Pet Obedience

Dogs need to learn many skills to live in our homes and become well-behaved members of our families.  This class builds the relationship between you and your dog with positive, respectful training methods to teach the behaviors your dog needs to become a good family pet.

Requirements: This class is for puppies and dogs 5 months and older.

Description:   Emphasis is on the prevention of problem behaviors and the development of good manners and includes:

bullet Stay
bullet Off
bullet Leash Walking
bullet Drop it / Leave it
bullet Polite Greeting
bullet Socialization
bullet Troubleshooting

Students who take Pet Obedience in the session following their completion of the Puppy Primer receive a $25.00 discount on this class.

Puppies and dogs adopted from a shelter or rescue organization within 6 months of registration receive 10% off the class tuition.

Schedule:  Class meets one hour a week for 7 weeks. Dogs do not attend the first class.  Please check the schedule for registration information.
